Dear Grazia,
I do not have a photo with you to post it now, but I have a lot of lovely memories that I will keep with me.
I remember our first meeting, it was before Christmas. Late afternoon you came to Design domain and introduced yourself to the people that were still in the office. You greeted everyone personally and simply said: I am Grazia, I will be the new Head of Design.
I was surprised of you natural and friendly manner. And you have never changed your behavior: always open, always smiling, always ready to listen and support.
I will keep in my mind all our discussions, the small talks in the corridors or in the kitchen. But now I will share only one of them. It started surprising for us – the quality team decided to implement a monthly KPI about DOS cards and the Design domain was “red”. We started immediately to recover, personally I invested a lot of efforts but it was difficult to improve in the immeiate time. Fortunately 2 days before end of the month we succeeded. I wanted to inform you, but you were not in the office and I left a message on a yellow post-it paper: “We are amber!”. One hour later you came to my desk to tell me “Thank you!” and to explain how much you appreciate my effort.
Of course we continued to improve and soon we were in the green area, but for me the best point is the first success we made – to become amber. It was a sign of trust and team spirit! Thank you for that!
Dear Grazia, It is a blessing to meet people as you, and I will always keep you in my heart!
I really hope we can meet somewhere in the future!
